It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Newberry Evans, known to most as Brian, on 21 November 2025, at the age of 86.
He was the devoted husband of the late Maureen, and together they enjoyed many years of happy marriage. He worked in a variety of roles throughout his life, but was best known for his time as an Electrical Engineer at BRUSH in Loughborough, a position in which he took great pride.
A long‑time resident and familiar figure on the Close where he lived, friends and neighbours are invited to attend the funeral service on Tuesday 30th December at Loughborough Crematorium at 12.30pm.
Donations in lieu of flowers please to the three charities chosen by Brian; Cancer Research UK, Coeliac UK and Age UK.
